ISPA (Internet Service Providers Association) has announced the finalists for its 13th annual awards with ask4 named amongst the finalists in two categories. The awards ask4 have been nominated for are, Best Consumer Customer Service ISP and Best Business Customer Service ISP sponsored by Geo.

We at ask4 are driven by our commitment to delivering the best possible experience to all our customers and we are delighted that our dedication has been recognised in both the Consumer and Business sectors.

The accolade emphasises ask4’s commitment to providing excellent customer service along with the growth and development of ask4 over recent years. From September ask4 will supply market leading Broadband to around 130 student residences throughout the UK.

The ISPA’s are unique as they are awarded to companies and individuals in the industry by their peers. The finalists will now be assessed by a panel of judges and the winners will be announced on 7^th July at the ISPA’s award ceremony at the Lancaster London Hotel.

ask4 are pleased to announce the appointment of Oliver Riddle as Business Development Director. Oliver recently came to ask4 as Business Development Director to kick start ask4′s partnership with the South Yorkshire Digital Region and was tasked with adding student homes across the Sheffield area to ask4′s VDSL service; Oliver stated; “Once properties are enabled, students will have immediate access to super-fast broadband from the start of their house contract period. No provisioning delay, calls to suppliers or checks with landlords. Like gas, phone and electricity, this utility will be available from day one”.

ask4 has a desire to expand further into the residential market on the back of our highly regarded internet services in halls of residences. The South Yorkshire Digital Region offers the perfect platform in which to do this and allows ask4 to fulfill the requests of student landlords within Sheffield for a fast managed internet service for their properties.

Oliver, originally from Sheffield, was educated at Northumbria University. In addition to working in telecommunications in London for 12 years, he most recently held a position as Sales Manager for the North of England for ANT Telecom, who like ask4, provide converged Telecoms’ solutions.

ask4, the UK’s fastest student broadband provider, are delighted to announce its continuing partnership with Opal Property Group. After a very successful seven years supplying broadband to Opal’s portfolio of over 17,000 student bedrooms, Opal and ask4 have re-signed their existing contract, in a new seven year deal, with the addition of two brand new buildings, Opal 1 Dundee and Opal 1 Exeter.

The partnership agreement is one of their biggest and most important long term contracts, expressed by Gavin Duncan, Opal Operations Manager;
